Welcome to Port Chalmers Yacht Club

Welcome to Dunedin’s longest established yacht club.  We have a very active sailing membership and racing programme along with a proud history of producing national champions across a variety of classes.

We welcome anyone who has an interest in sailing whether it is learning to sail, crewing or sailing your own boat.  Our clubhouse is a family-friendly and social space to relax after a day on the water.

After spending the last two years in a shipping container, our winning AC50 has been pulled out, put together, polished to perfection and put on display outside the team base. Come have a 👀.

The days are getting longer. It will soon be time to get ready for the first event of the season. Stayed tuned for some exciting developments in this year's festival, on the way to a goal of 100 boats. We can do it!

We would like to invite you along to the Port Chalmers Yacht Club this Friday 16th August to help us plan the upcoming season's racing.

This is a great chance to have your say about what kind of races you would like to see in this years syllabus.

Look forward to seeing you at the Clubhouse, Back Beach from 7.30pm.

Also coming up is another Working Bee before the season opens. This will be held on the 31st August at 9.30am. There are a number of jobs on the Beverly Pearl, wharf, the Elliot 5.9's and around the compound that we need to get finished. As usual, we really appreciate any time that anyone can spare.
